FIELD: steam dispensing elements of large steam turbines. SUBSTANCE: valve has steam box 1 accommodating fixed diffuser saddle 2 and guide sleeve 3. The latter is rigidly coupled with retaining box 5 of locking mechanism with longitudinal butt-end projections 6. Valve also has rod 7 passed through retaining box 5 and provided with head 8. Installed coaxially with it is cup 9 with sleeve 10 having power diaphragm 12. Inner surfaces of cup 9, sleeve 10, and annular power diaphragm 12 form balancing chamber 13 accommodating positioning section of locking mechanism made in the form of bushing 14 with radial projections 15 arranged in congruent manner to slits 16 on power diaphragm 12 which form, together with the latter, axial joint in turning. In the action, longitudinal butt-end projections 6 of retaining box 5 pass through slits 16 of power diaphragm 12 and enter slits of positioning section of locking mechanism. Rod 7 is placed inside bushing 14 in a spaced relation to it. Axial clearance is provided between bushing 14 and power diaphragm 12 separating them; bushing is installed on inner end surface of annular groove 17 of balancing chamber at height corresponding to extreme upper position of rod head base.
