FIELD: metallurgy, in particular, furnaces for metals heating before rolling, namely, continuously cast ingots. SUBSTANCE: fume offtake includes heating furnace with recuperator connected by means of flue with stack. The flue along its entire length in the form of bypass member is connected with the help of channels to waste-heat boiler, and further on, to smoke exhauster. Flue and channels are provided with gates and valves. Channel connecting the flue and waste-heat boiler has heating furnace which, in its turn, is connected with the help of channel which connects smoke exhauster with flue. Furnace has heating burners connected with supplying pipeline. Channels connecting the flue and furnace, and also the furnace with channel located between smoke exhauster and flue are provided with gate and valve, respectively.
