FIELD: devices for automatic maintaining of preset temperature in rooms and storages. SUBSTANCE: domestic temperature controller uses a control circuit consisting of series-connected resistor, diode, temperature-sensitive element - thermocontactor and normally-closed test toggle switch, as well as an actuating circuit consisting of heating elements connected in series with the load, and interconnected electrical key-thyristor and pilot lamp (sound warning device). The actuating circuit is controlled by feeding a signal to the control lead of the thyristor from the point of connection of the diode and thermocontactor. At a break of the control circuit by the thermocontactor because of a temperature drop in the store below the threshold temperature, or simulation of such a situation by cutting out the test toggle switch the key-thyristor starts conducting and the mains voltage is applied to the load, which is indicated by the pilot lamp (or sound warning device).
