FIELD: coal industry. SUBSTANCE: method includes coal drying up to temperature of 70-85 C and delivery to grinding mill by air flow. Cooling gas or air is passed through grinding mill. Rotating vortex layer may be formed at place where bowl with runners is positioned in mill. Milling may be performed at minimum distance between bowl and runners. Gas-and-dust mixture may be delivered to separator mounted on grinding mill. Vortex layer may be formed by spiral feed of cooling gas through blade-type rim encircling the bowl with runners. Coal particle cooling may be controlled by speed of flow or-and by cooling gas temperature. Sieving of coal particles may be adjusted for getting constant uniform flow.
