FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: product: trans-dichloro(bromo)-bis-[gamma-1,2,5-trimethyl-4- -(3,4-dimethyl-3,4-dihydroxy-1-pentinyl] -4-piperidol-etha, NPt (II) of the formula [Pt(C₁₅H₂₇NO₃)₂Cl₂]. Yield is 0.78 g (80%). Reagent 1: an aqueous solution of K₂[PtCl₄] or K₂[PtBr₄]. Reagent 1: gamma-1,2,5-trime- -thyl-4-(3,4-dimethyl-3,4-dihydroxy-1-pentinyl)-4-piperidol in alcohol. Reaction conditions: process is carried out at heating to 40 C for 24 h. Synthesized compound is used in medicine as an anthelmintic agent. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis. 1 tbl
