FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to industrial and civil engineering industry and particularly to coverings of large-span stadiums and other entertainment structures. Covering of large-span structure has panels made up of light-transparent components, inclined load-bearing profiles of hollow box cross-section. Each light-transparent component is provided with upper and lower trimming profiles. Lower trimming profile has vertical wall with inclined bend on its end towards lower-lying panel for water draining, and three flanges adjacent to vertical wall which together form hollow in which end of light-transparent component is positioned, and also lower hollow. Made in middle flange on section adjacent to wall is recess for collection of condensate, and provided underneath of lower flange are two protrusions with bends facing towards each other and forming hollow with sealing member located in it. Upper trimming profile is made in the form of two flanges which are adjacent by their ends to vertical wall with formation of hollow between them in which accommodated is light-transparent component, and cantilever part of wall. End of upper flange in zone of its adjoining to wall are two protrusions which in configuration and purpose are identical to protrusions on lower flange of upper trimming profile. Inclined load-bearing members of profile are secured to longitudinal beams of covering through connecting profile members. Installed on external vertical faces of hollow load-bearing profile are brackets in the form of channel bars for connecting load-bearing profile and lateral profile.
