SET OF PROFILED MEMBERS FOR PREFERABLY TRANSPARENT GUARDING OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: set of profiled members can be used in facade guarding and facing of buildings and structures, including show windows, separating partitions, etc. Set of profiled members has load-bearing post or box-section span-piece with at least one pair of longitudinal ribs with flanges on their ends protruding beyond contour of load-bearing post. Flanges have longitudinal slots for location of seals. Located between flanges is box-section rib. One base of box-section rib is made integral with flange of U-shaped rib. Located inside its space in walls of seat with resilient support against end-face of walls of U-shaped rib is fixed dowel insert with hollow for location of fastening means. Also provided is clamping strip for seal made preferably of polymeric material with seats in its side planes where resilient cap is fixed which externally embraces resilient cover. Clamping strip is fixed by means of slots made in it for T-shaped seal of polymeric material. Its post is provided with centrally located protruding catch introduced into space intended for location of dowel insert. The protruding catch is limited along its side planes by cantilever parts of T-shaped seal which exceed its length by at least one and half times. Each cantilever part is made in the form of strip which by its tail divides space between profiled members and guarding through its entire length or through larger part of its length. Longitudinal slots in flanges on ends of ribs are adapted for location of seals. Each seal is also made in the form of strip which by its tail divides space between profiled members and guarding into additional primarily isolated volumes through its entire length or through larger part of its length. Application of embodiment of set allows for wider varying of configuration of structures at minimized use of structural components and joining units ensuring preset position of guarding structures and meeting high requirements as to thermal insulation.
