SUBMARINER'S RESCUE OUTFIT Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: escape from damage submarine lying at deep depth by free surfacing method. SUBSTANCE: rescue outfit includes breathing apparatus and hermetic diving dress with helmet made from reinforced material. Diving dress is provided with hermetic chambers which may be connected to compressed air bottles, device for compression, safety valve for maintenance of the required pressure differential inside the diving dress and surrounding medium. Helmet is fitted with pipe union and breathing half-mask with nipple to which breathing apparatus located under diving dress is connected. Decompression device mounted inside diving dress or on its outer surface includes air throttle which brings inter-dress space in communication with surrounding medium. Decompression device is connected with pressure pickup and safety valve which makes it possible to perform decompression of submariner in preset mode directly in diving dress beginning from underwater position to surface position.
