FIELD: aviation; designing emergency rescue devices for high-speed flying vehicles. SUBSTANCE: emergency braking device for high-speed flying vehicle includes pivoted lever on whose end swivel hub is secured with blades attached to it. According to invention, pivoted lever is provided with stops having springs for fixed turn of lever till stops are in contact with fuselage. Pivoted lever is provided with drive. Lever is connected with drive by means of rope fitted with pulley. Rope keeps the lever in fixed position and releases it due to engagement of drive at the beginning of braking. Blade tips are directed forward and are kept in folded position by means of shroud provided with drive. Hub is provided with additional drive equipped with shaft and overrunning clutch on hub for transmission of additional rotation to it, thus reducing the falling speed of flying vehicle; overrunning clutch is connected with shaft of additional drive by means of gear train. Shaft is provided with length compensator and each bend is fitted with two Hooke's joints. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 6 dwg
