FIELD: night viewing devices. SUBSTANCE: transducer photocathode and anode are connected to ends of piezoid or several parallel-connected piezoids. Supply voltage is applied to transducer by compressing piezoid. Force applied to piezoid is selected from expression , where Umax is maximum permissible operating voltage across transducer; Umin is minimum value of operating voltage across transducer; K is piezoelectric modulus of piezoid material; N is number of piezoids; Cin is capacitance of transducer and its power supply circuits; C is piezoid capacitance. EFFECT: improved reliability of transducer turning-on.
