FIELD: excavation operations, working tools of back shovels having dipper with cover. SUBSTANCE: excavating machines fitted with such working tool can work under any conditions, to work out ground, to conduct loading operations with materials from powdered to liquefied ones with their transfer under any angle of elevation. Working equipment includes handle, dipper with cover on one axis. Cover is composed of base and side planes hinged to it and provided on one end with single-arm levers placed in parallel to planes and with other levers placed perpendicular to them. Base of cover is fitted in plane of turn of single-arm levers with rectangular openings where ends of brackets anchored on dipper and handle pass through which makes it possible for cover to set in one line shutting intake space of dipper and to set side planes perpendicular to base embracing handle from sides while base approaches handle and is registered on latch of handle Like spaces of hydraulic cylinders of turn of dipper and cover are interconnected and one lever with button switch is control element of latch fed from electric system of shovel.
