FIELD: earth-moving machinery. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to single-bucket hydraulic excavators. Proposed backhoe excavator contains base machine, boom, arm with articulated two-section bucket whose front section is installed through its side walls by means of rigid detachable joints in upper part rear section by means of its side walls and provided with turnable bottom with its drive and cutting edge with teeth installed on turnable bottom, with radius of turning relative to bucket-to-arm connecting joint is equal to radius of turning of bucket front section with its cutting edge and teeth relative to the same joint, and teeth of cutting edge of rear section are installed after teeth of front section cutting edge. With opened turnable bottom of bucket rear section, front sections of bucket is installed in rear section by means of its side walls and rigid detachable joints to provide power contact of teeth of both cutting edges using the drive of turnable bottom of bucket rear section. Two side walls are installed on turnable bucket proper from inner side along side edges by means of rigid detachable joints, and solid cutting edges are installed on teeth of both cutting edges by means of rigid detachable joints. With power contact of solid cutting edges, free end faces of both side walls are in tight contact with corresponding free end faces of side walls of bucket front section. Front section of bucket is installed through its side walls in rear section by means of its side walls using rigid detachable joints with turning through 180° around longitudinal axis of boom arm. Two side walls are installed on turnable bottom of bucket from side along side edges by means of rigid detachable joints. Said side walls are installed for contact with side walls of bucket when turnable bottom is moved by drive. EFFECT: increased capacity of excavator. 5 cl, 12 dwg
