FIELD: sea seismic prospecting. SUBSTANCE: proposed seismic sea towed receiver is designed to receive seismic vibrations, to convert them to electric signals which are sent to board seismic station. It includes n instrument sections, where n= 1, 2, 3..., of sealed hose connected by leak-proof connectors carrying pressure transducers, connecting wires and matching units towed with the aid of rope. Receiver has pressure bearing hose that houses sections located freely over entire length. Each leak-proof section of leak-proof hose is vacuumed or has inert gas of low pressure. Front end of bearing pressure hose is anchored on front joint of first section and its rear end is attached to tail part provided with frontal input window communicating space of hose to environment. EFFECT: improved operational characteristics. 5 cl, 4 dwg
