FIELD: radio communication. SUBSTANCE: pager terminal has controller, transmitter, controller of transmitter, unit for allocation of communication channel. Pager terminal is designed for locating of portable radio equipment. Controller of transmitter is connected to at least one transmitters of information signal which has pre-defined color code word which identifies sub-group in manifold of communication cells which effective service regions do not overlap. Receiver controller is connected to stationary receivers which receive response signal for signal reception acknowledgment from portable radio equipment. Signal reception acknowledgment has color code value which is generated from color code word which has been transmitted in first information signal. Communication channel allocation unit is connected to receiver controller in order to identify one of stationary receivers for locating position of portable radio equipment using known color code word value and identification of one of stationary receivers.
