FIELD: equipment for making wire-gauze webs with square cells and rigidly fixed weaving assembly. SUBSTANCE: installation includes kinematically connected uncoiling apparatus, apparatuses for feeding longitudinal and cross wires, shedding mechanism, mechanism for forming wire weaving assembly, mechanism for moving gauze, shears for shearing gauze by separate webs and web accumulator. Wire weaving assembly is formed in die set with working surfaces having profiled seats. Said seats are drawn together for restricting cavity corresponding to assembly being formed. Said gauze web is moved by step motion mechanism of carriage feeding longitudinal wires to die set of shedding mechanism.
