FIELD: construction, applicable in repair pipe-lines and vessels. SUBSTANCE: a terminal groove accommodating on elastic sealing member is made in the cylindrical hollow body with ears and valve. The cylindrical body with an open valve is installed on the defective section of the pipe-line and secured on it by links attached to the ears. The valve is closed and the medium from the pipe-line through the defect is fed to the body cavity, pressing the seal thus improving the sealing. The defect area gets unloaded from the inner pressure, which prevents growth of the defect. EFFECT: eliminated growth of the defect at liquidation of leakage of product from a pressurized vessel. 1 dwg
