FIELD: quantum electronics. SUBSTANCE: method involves recording hologram in nonlinear environment by conjugated wavefront and by flat reference beam, as well as reading data on conjugated wavefront aberrations; novelty is that reading is effected by wave shaped from conjugated phase diffracting on recorded hologram. Novelty in device incorporating coherent radiation source, as well as reference-wave shaping unit, nonlinear environment for hologram recording, polarizing optical isolator, and reading-wave shaping unit, all arranged along beam path, is that reading-wave shaping unit is made in the form of retroreflector positioned in direction of diffraction on conjugated wave hologram; retroreflector aperture is not smaller than that of conjugated beam. Novelty in optical system for aiming laser beam at target is that reading-wave shaping unit is made in the form of retroreflector positioned in direction of diffraction on conjugated wave hologram, that amplifier is additionally inserted between main mirror of telescopic system and nonlinear environment, that coherent radiation source is provided, in addition, with lighting fixture for illuminating field of vision of telescopic radiation system with polarization orthogonal to original one, and reflector aperture is not smaller than that of conjugated beam. EFFECT: improved design and enlarged functional capabilities. 3 cl, 2 dwg
