SUBSTANCE: method involves moving burner in horizontal plane above soil surface at height lesser than plant height so that burner comes into contact with plant stem and moves from contact point to top to incline plant; initiating the process of treating plant with flame the moment plant is to be released, with flame treatment direction being opposite to burner motion direction. Flame treatment is performed from plant top to the initial contact point. EFFECT: increased efficiency in weed control and simplified method. 1 dwg
