METHOD FOR THERMAL (FIRE) FIGHTING AGAINST WEED PLANT SEEDS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method involves providing thermal treatment of weed plant seeds by inclining plants by means of horizontal shield provided with longitudinal corrugations. Weed plant stalk top parts are sliding over inner surface of corrugations toward their protrusions for accumulating therein. Method further involves feeding flame tongue under shield in direction of movement of burners axially of corrugations axes. Flame tongue of each burner is divided by slot of corrugation arranged above burner into two parts. Each of said flame tongue parts rises to corrugation protrusion where weed plant seeds are accumulated.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and safe effectuation of treatment process.
