FIELD: medicine, pulmonology. SUBSTANCE: abscess cavity is drained. Then a course of conservative treatment is conducted for 3-4 weeks. At detecting residual cavity of 2 cm or more it is necessary to conduct endobronchial occlusion of lobar or segmentary bronchus which drains a cavity. Draining is conducted for 10-14 days along constant vacuum aspiration. EFFECT: higher efficiency to decrease a number of residual cavities in a lung. 2 dwg
