FIELD: veterinary science, production and application of biological products, vaccination, prophylaxis. SUBSTANCE: an associated vaccine is prepared from anthrax strain of 55-VNIIVViM at final concentration being 2.0-2.5 x 1010⁹ spores per 1 cmcm³ and vaccinal strain of emphysematous carbuncle 2/14 at final concentration being 2.0-2.1 x 1010⁹ cells per 1 cmcm³. For prophylaxis of anthrax and emphysematous carbuncle in farm animals it is necessary to use an associated vaccine which contains the above mentioned strains. The given vaccine should be introduced subcutaneously in area of the middle third of a neck in cattle aged within 3-6 months at the dose of 1.0-1.1 cmcm³, aged above 6 months - 2.0-2.1 cmcm³.
