FIELD: removal of oil from ground. SUBSTANCE: aim of invention consists in developing high-efficiency, environmentally safe, and inexpensive composition and appropriate soil purification method allowing more efficient purification of different soil types with different degree of pollution owing to complete biodegradation of residues from the purification process. Composition contains oil-oxidizing microorganisms, a fertilizer, and, additionally, an adsorbent. As fertilizer, combined one is utilized. Composition contains wt.-%: oil-oxidizing microorganisms, 1.0-2.0; combined fertilizer, 9.0-16.0; adsorbent, the balance. If composition additionally contains Clostridium omeleanskii or Bacillus mesentericus, component contents are as follows: oil-oxidizing bacteria, 1.0-2.0; combined fertilizer, 9.0-16.0; Clostridium omeleanskii and/or Bacillus mesentericus, 0.2- 0.4; adsorbent, the balance. Soil-purification method includes treating polluted soil by soil-purification composition, in the course of which, supplementary amounts of combined fertilizer are periodically added to polluted soil.
