FIELD: production of bars and shaped sections, mainly, non-symmetrical ones, in metallurgical and machine engineering plants. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of reducing blank between cone rolling rolls with axes crossing at side of small bases of roll cones. Rolls have at least two parts made of materials with different friction factors. Rolling surfaces of rolls have roughness with the same height of microirregularities. Before rolling sections in such rolls preliminarily rolled strip is made. Strip has width no less than height of cone of generatrix surface of cone roll and length no less than 2πR, where R - radius of large base of cone. At reducing process blank is equally spaced from contact zone of portions of rolls. When predetermined radius curvature of blank profile is exceeded, blank is shifted towards working surface of roll with larger friction factor. When curvature radius is lowered, blank is shifted towards working surface of roll with smaller friction factor. EFFECT: simplification of method, enhanced quality of rolled sections. 2 dwg
