FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: in proposed method information on number of wheelsets detected by track pickup is transmitted from ground equipment along two wire line circuit to receiver in form of binary code signal by amplitude or amplitude-phase modulation by ac half waves which are supplied to two wire line circuit from side of receiver and are used, after rectification, to supply elements of ground electronic unit. EFFECT: improved reliability owing to improved interference protection of signal at simplified design of equipment used. 2 cl, 3 dwg
