FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: this is aimed at reducing permeability of watered interlayers with purpose of increasing oil recovery from bed and intensification of oil production due to enlarging structural viscosity of compounds, increasing their thermal stability with possibility of preparing compounds in cold season of year (at centigrade subzero temperatures). According to method, oil bed is treated by injecting water solution of anionic polymer, acid to obtain pH equal to 0.5-2.5, and salt of polyvalence metal into oil bed. Compound to be injected additionally contains aliphatic or aromatic alcohol or product which contain them. Water solution of polymer, alcohol and salt of polyvalence metal are taken at following relation of components, mass%: water-soluble polymer 0.005-2.0, aliphatic or aromatic alcohol 0.10-60.0, salt of polyvalence metal 0.002-0.20, water - the balance. Application of aforesaid method allows for reduction of permeability of watered interlayers and preparation of compounds in any season of year due to increased structural viscosity and strength of gels in conditions of higher temperature mode. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 tbl
