FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: gummer is intended for removing gum or powder-like mineral or ore both from working member of conveyor and from floor of haulage drift. Gum is usually brought from longwall at extraction of minerals. Gummer has drive unit, working member in the form of round-link chain with cantilever-type scrapers. Endless chain runs around drive sprocket and tension sprocket with creation of two lines moving along carrier pan which is made in the form of enclosed trough which is concaved in vertical plane by means of deflecting drums with formation of two sections consisting of horizontal parts and inclined parts which are connected to each other by means of curved sections. Horizontal parts are located under lower line of scraper conveyor. Each part has openings. Inclined parts have openings above upper line of conveyor for possible falling of gum through opening in lower side of curved section of carrier pan. Made in end of curved section of carrier pan is cutout which is closed by protective housing pivotally fastened to trough parts. Drive unit is located separately at outer side of curved section and coaxially with drive sprocket. Gummer is provided with hydraulic cylinders located at both sides of conveyor for possible turning of gummer in horizontal plane. At actuation of drive, endless chain with scrapers moving inside curved carrier pan with formation of two working lines takes by its scrapers gum falling into carrier pan from lower line of conveyor through openings and moves it to opening in curved section where gum drops to upper line of conveyor. For removing gum from places of its accumulation for example from recess in stoping face, housing is tipped away and scrapers take this gum through cutout in carrier pan for carrying it to opening also for further discharge to upper line of conveyor. Gummer can be turned in horizontal plane by means of hydraulic cylinders thus ensuring larger area for gum removal. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 dwg
