FIELD: measurement technology, mechanical engineering, robotics when developing systems of power sensing of manipulators. SUBSTANCE: technical task of invention consists in determination of weight of transported objects which allows sorting of objects by mass to be carried out more accurately and within wide limits. Gear for contactless determination of weight and sorting of objects with developed surface has feeding and discharging conveyers, rotating disc with weight-sensitive elements in the form of cylinders positioned on it. Tore-shaped chamber of rectangular section having inlet for communication with pressure source through adjustable throttle and circular outlet in the form of conduit expanding towards end face of sensitive element is made uniaxially inside cylinder. Conduit envelops circular protrusion on this end face fabricated from plastic material. Gear also includes weight computing unit with pressure transducer and control unit. Dummy measurement conduit which outlet matches lower plane of circular protrusion is made along axis of sensitive element and communicates with pressure transducer. Weight of transported article is determined by pressure of air in measurement conduit at moment of entrapment of article. Sorting is conducted by program of control unit. Sorting algorithm can be changed rapidly. EFFECT: timely check of mass of article combined with transportation. 4 dwg
