FIELD: measurement technology; mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has body 1 with central hole 2 in which central insert is installed with clearance. Central hole 2 communicates with source of compressed air, and working face of insert 3 carries friction attachment 5. Central hole 2 and insert 3 in device are made stepped. Insert 3 is mounted loosely for movement along longitudinal axis of body 1. Side surface of large diameter step of insert is provided with slots 4 positioned uniformly over insert perimeter. Longitudinal axes of slots 4 are parallel to longitudinal axis of body 1. In addition, device has facility for stabilization of pressure of compressed air source and optical sensor of displacement of central insert 7 secured to side wall of body 1. Optical sensor 7 is connected to computing and control unit 9 connected to valve 10. Sorting is performed by program of computing and control unit 9. Provision is made for rapid variation of sorting algorithm. EFFECT: higher accuracy and extended range of sorting. 2 cl, 2 dwg
