BRANDER Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: rolling, applicable for application of necessary inscription-brand onto rolled products. SUBSTANCE: brander uses bed 1, which carries power cylinder 2, rod 3 having stem 4. Bed 1 also carries disk 5 with branding irons 7 installed in shaped slots 6 parallel to generatrix of disk 5 for movement in these slots. Disk 5 is coupled with shaft 8 of turning drive with programmed positioning. Stem 4 of power cylinder 2 has a slot for registration of the planes of slots 6 and slot 9 in the extreme non-operating position of cylinder 2. Two-way pusher 10 engageable with branding iron 7 at registration of slots 6 and 9 is also installed in bed 1. EFFECT: reliable return of branding iron to the initial position. 2 dwg
