FIELD: rolled stock production, namely apparatuses for marking rolled products.

SUBSTANCE: stamping apparatus includes housing, vertical shaft, cantilever rotary lever mounted on vertical shaft, stamping head having unit of adjacent rotary discs with stamping symbols uniformly arranged along their perimeters, drive for rotating discs of head. Stamping head is mounted on end of cantilever type lever with possibility of vertical motion. Vertical shaft is mounted with possibility of rotation by 180 degrees and it is provided with its own rotation drive unit. Part of vertical shaft joined with cantilever lever has eccentricity relative to rotation axis of shaft equal to 0.25 of pitch of stamping symbols of adjacent discs. Lever is provided with member for fixing its angular position. Rotation drive of discs of stamping head is mounted on lever and it is joined with disc axle.

EFFECT: possibility for applying doubled number of stamping marks in one line without increasing number of stamping discs, increased stamping cycle.
