FIELD: detergent and cleaning means. SUBSTANCE: invention concerns surfactant with microporous structure and with no dust-forming parts, its apparent density being at least 150 g/l and residual water content not higher than 20 wt %. Detergent and/or cleaning means of invention contains at least one anionic surfactant as defined above (35- 95 wt %) and at least one organic and/or inorganic auxiliary substance. Fine free-flowing anionic surfactants or their mixtures with at least one auxiliary substance are prepared by introducing aqueous preparation of indicated substances or their mixtures into stream of a drying medium containing water vapor. Fine solid free-flowing product is then discharged, exhausted drying medium stream withdrawn, entrained particles of valuable substances separated, and a part of purified drying medium is returned into the process. As drying medium, overheated steam is used which, after a part of water evaporated from the raw material is separated, is recycled. EFFECT: enhanced process efficiency. 15 cl, 1 tbl
