FIELD: devices for cleaning liquids and exhaust gases of internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: device includes ceramic cellular unit and ceramic cellular inserts with shields fitted at inlet and outlet of unit. Filtration is effected by means of shield of inserts and porous passages of unit. Direction of flow of gases or liquid inside unit may be changed through closing part of passages at inlet and outlet by means of shields of inserts.
