ADJUSTABLE AXIAL-PISTON HYDRAULIC MOTOR Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: hydrostatic drives of mobile machines. SUBSTANCE: cylinder block is installed in cavity formed by case and cover for rocking. Hydraulic motor has its working space adjusting mechanism 5 incorporating control distributor 13 kinematically coupled with cylinder block and provided with step piston 6 both mounted in cover 2 wherein control chambers 7 and 8 are formed by piston steps. Control chamber 7 permanently communicates with pressure and drain channels made in cover for working medium inlet and outlet. Control chamber 8 is suited for periodic connection through control distributor 13 to pressure source or to drain so as to control desired volume of hydraulic motor by varying angle of inclination of cylinder block 4. Novelty is that hydraulic motor has device for converting high-pressure signal in hydraulic motor pressure line to motor volume control signal; device is loaded with spring 14 of piston 15 coupled with controlled pressure- reducing valve 16 whose inlet is connected to H_y control pump and its outlet is connected to adjusting mechanism control device.
