FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: joint includes longitudinal and circular reinforcement engageable with load-bearing member made in form of circular bush with inner taper surface. Outer surface of bush is provided with circular taper slot; direction of conicity of this slot is opposite to that of inner bore of bush. For locking the load-bearing member, use is made of two layers of reinforcement bent identically to inner surface of bush and outer circular taper slot. Joint provides equal strength with pipe.
