FIELD: medicine, disinfectants and sterilizing agents. SUBSTANCE: antiseptic preparation has alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride and ethyl alcohol as active components at the following ratio, wt.-%: ethyl alcohol, 77.0-81.0; alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride, 0.08-0.12; and water, the balance. As ethyl alcohol denaturated alcohol containing 1 wt.-% methylethyl ketone, not above, can be used. Preparation shows bactericidal, fungicidal and virulicidic effect but does not cause allergic responses and can be used as skin antiseptic agent.
