FIELD: thermal decomposition of organic substances; may be used in destruction of wastes. SUBSTANCE: method includes pyrolysis without presence of oxygen-containing gases with subsequent cleaning of produced pyrolysis gas with solid alkali adsorbent. Pyrolysis is conducted in one stage under cyclic conditions up to preset value of decomposition of organic substance with use of regenerative heat exchange on fixed heat-accumulating attachment. Pyrolysis gas after cleaning with solid adsorbent is additionally cleaned with organic solvent and after burning, liberated heat is returned to pyrolysis process for heating of fixed attachment. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg , 2 tbl
