FIELD: molding from viscous materials of articles consisting of two or more colors. SUBSTANCE: spacer is used in manufacture of articles from artificial leather or similar materials selected from thermoplastic, thermosetting and elastomer resins in the form of powder. In this case, longitudinal profile of spacer 4 corresponds to that line of mold 2 which forms on molded article corresponding separating line between two different colors. Spacer is rigidly secured to separating wall 3 which forms two separated half-spaces inside mold. Attached to spacer in preset sequence are many inserts 5 from rigid material. Each insert 5 is individually controlled by driving device 8 to provide for stretching or compression of spacer by moving the inserts. EFFECT: provision of ideal tightening in each zone of mold profile even in the presence of cutouts, grooves or projections on its inner wall. 6 cl, 4 dwg
