FIELD: chemical technology, polymers. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the synthesis of hydrocarbon oligomers having terminal reactive groups. Synthesis of oligodienediols having terminal hydroxyl groups is carried out by treatment of dilithiumoligodiene with ethylene oxide to form terminal hydroxyl groups. Dilithiumoligodiene is synthesized by polymerization of coupled dienes in hydrocarbon solvents at two-stage addition of couples dienes. At the first stage disecondary dilithiumalkane is used as an initiating agent followed by separation of low-molecular insoluble dilithiumoligodiene formed at the first stage and its utilization as an oligomeric initiating agent at the second stage. Mole ratio monomer : disecondary dilithiumalkane is 10-20. Monomer amount at the secondary stage is taken depending on required mass of the end product.
