FIELD: polymerization processes. SUBSTANCE: invention provides oligomers having following general formula: wherein -X- represents -O- or -OC(O)N(Ph)-, n=2-3, and m=2-10. Oligomers are prepared via anionic polymerization of methacrylic derivatives in presence of initiator, said methacrylic derivatives having groups with labile hydrogen atoms and said anionic polymerization being conducted in inert medium in presence of initiators selected from group including: alkali metals or their compounds, mixture of alpha-oxide with tertiary amine at molar ratio between 1.5 and 1.3, whereas monomer-to-initiator ratio equals (10-40):1. Invention can be utilized for synthesis of novel reactive oligomers, macromonomers for use as modifying additives, surfactants, coupling agents, compatibilizing agents for polymer mixture preparation, and insulation coatings in electric engineering, electronics, and science of materials.
