SUBSTANCE: cystotome for front capsulotomia, having a handle and bent knife 2 with cutting edges 3 converting in the form of a cleaving end and located in the form of generator of a cone, additionally uses cutting member 4 located on the convex side of knife 2 and having the shape of truncated pyramid with a tapered rib oriented towards the handle; the pyramid is connected to the cleaving end through a rib oriented towards the plane of cutting edges 3 at an angle of 30 deg. EFFECT: reduced traumatism of eye tissues due to the fact that only one puncture of the eye lens is sufficient for effective operation on the anterior crystalline capsule of the eye. 4 dwg
