FIELD: painting equipment. SUBSTANCE: scraper for uniform distribution of paint captured by roll from reservoir is longer than reservoir. Lower part of scraper has width smaller and upper part has width exceeding that of reservoir. Opening in lower part of scraper allows paint to flow from one side of scraper to other side. Length of upper part of scraper is 50-100% of length of lower part. Scraper sides are provided with edges positioned at an angle to scraper surface and serve side restrictors. Ribs extending over surface of upper part of scraper and upper portion of lower part of scraper are adapted for removing excessive paint. EFFECT: increased strength, increased efficiency by uniform spreading of paint over object and simplified construction. 6 cl, 3 dwg
