SUBSTANCE: device 10 for realization of this method includes lay-out table 12, lay-out mechanism 14B, gripping device 16 and sheet material distributor unit 18; all these members are operated by means of control unit 20. Gripping device 16 includes cover segment gripping mechanism 16A which is used for removal of segment of cover sheet from sheet of blank and gripping mechanism 16B for withdrawal of segment of blank of required shape.
