FIELD: manufacture of volumetric pieces from plastic sheet by bending. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for thermal shaping of plastic material sheet by bending has supporting base, mounted with capability of reciprocation; means for fixation and clamping of blank in zone of bending; mean for local heating of blank in zone of bending and shaping joint, that has a mounted with capability of reciprocation shaping member for creation of bending effort on tail part of blank, subjected to shaping, and template. Apparatus has a mounted on base inclined platform, on upper and lower parts of which there are means of fixation to support blank. made as preliminary shaped door panel, that has preliminary shaped tail with protrusion located over upper end of platform. Clamping mean is made in the form of clamping member, mounted with capability of reciprocation. The member is mounted on axis with capability to swing and is provided with pressing mean with pit to catch protrusion of preliminary shaped panel end. Template is fixed in upper part of inclined platform and has movable supporting member, that is mounted so as to be capable to reciprocate along platform to position, located away from bent end of panel and to position to support bent end of panel. Mean of heating is made as infrared heater with lengthened resisting member. In the case the heater is mounted on fixed on base auxiliary slant platform with capability of reciprocation to place resisting member in operational position over outer surface of preliminary bent end of panel. In the case shaping member has right-angled member, mounted with capability to swing on axis, to be engaged with outer surface of preliminary bent end of panel at line of heating during the end bending from heated line around protruded supporting member of template to give side wall U-shaped form with reversal bending.
