FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: present invention describes monoclinic crystalline alpha-modification of 2,2′,2″-nitrilo [thriethyl-tris-3,3′,5,5′-(tetratert-butyl -1,1′- diphenyl -2,2′-diyl) phosphate], said compound is prepared by crystallization or transcrystallization from mixture of solvents based on any aromatic hydrocarbons and C₁-C₃- alkanol, or ether, ester or from mixture consisting of halogen substituted aliphatic hydrocarbon and C₁-C₃- alkanol. Said modification is used as stabilizer in stabilized composition in amount of from 0.01 to 10 wt % and comprises organic matter which is subjected to oxidative, thermal or light initiated destruction.
