FIELD: threads based on polycaprolactam, methods of their production and production of yarn and flat articles from these threads. SUBSTANCE: threads based on polycaprolactam with relative viscosity of 2.0-3.0 measured at concentration of 1 g of threads per 100 ml of 96-wt.% of sulfuric acid at 25 C are produced by extrusion and output at minimum speed according to equation given in the invention Description. Polycaprolactam produced in the presence at least one dicarboxylic acid selected from the group including low alkane-dicarboxylic acids, benzene-dicarboxylic and naphthalene-dicarboxylic acids with nonallied acid groups which may have one or two sulfo acid groups.
