FIELD: locking devices. SUBSTANCE: this particularly relates to lock fastening units and can be used at domestic and industrial objects. Locking device has lock proper fastened on internal surface of door by means of fixing member. Fixing member is made in the form of U-shaped box structure with lip bent inside its space and connected by its base with door. Lock located inside box structure at one side has its span-piece fully extended when lock is closed resting against locking member of safe body, and by its opposite end-face it is resting against lip. When lock is opened it is held in box structure by means of inserted key. Box structure by its end face at side of door hinge zone is connected with side wall of safe so that opening of door outside at disconnection of hinge units is not possible at attempt of burglary. Such embodiment of locking device allows for enhancing structural strength of door, simplifies design, reduces labour-intensity of hand operations at installing and fastening of lock, strengthens general stiffness of construction. Aforesaid design makes unnecessary to use load-bearing components in door hinge units as U-shaped box structure functions as passive span-piece at attempt of burglary for opening door at side of hinge zone by drilling out axles of rotation.
