FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: according to method, isolator is lowered and installed in water inflow interval. Prior to installing isolator, injected into water inflow passages is hydrophobic compound which is insoluble in water. Viscosity of compound is 200-1700 MPa.s at shearing velocity of 2-145 ss-1. After injection of compound it is held in water inflow passages under pressure for structural strengthening of compound. Application of aforesaid method helps improve efficiency of isolating water inflow to bore-hole of horizontal well. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
