FIELD: power engineering; machines with exhaust in form of gaseous fractions. SUBSTANCE: heterogeneous structure of exhaust flow is built in exhaust dust-muffler by delivering water. Heterogeneous structure is created in form of zones differing in density and temperature. Water is fed to input of exhaust duct-muffler in interrupted flow. Exhaust ports through which simultaneous discharge of exhaust gases is performed are united by separate hood, and water to be atomized in exhaust gas flow is delivered to one or several hoods through which exhaust into exhaust duct-muffler is provided with shift in time. Agents to neutralize toxic components of exhaust gases are introduced into water beforehand. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of noise suppression. 4 cl, 1 dwg
