FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed engine-compressor is designed for compressing natural or oil gas in which this gas is used as fuel for engine. Gas inlet valve installed on engine cylinder is connected to gaseous fuel feed line. Valve has spring-loaded shutoff member. Plunger pump is furnished with bell crank hinge-mounted on its housing. One arm of bell crank is in constant engagement with shutoff member of gas inlet valve, and second arm, with spring-loaded pusher installed in pump housing and mechanically coupled with plunger of accumulating pair. Non-return valve is placed between plunger pairs. Suction and delivery spaces of pump are placed in communication through closed external circuit and reservoir with working liquid.
