FIELD: testing equipment. SUBSTANCE: proposed gear tests leak-proofness of tanks by acoustic contact-free method, in particular, of tank cars. Forward channel of gear includes microphone with circular directivity pattern placed into tank, unit processing signals of forward channel which input is connected to output of microphone, ultrasonic radiator with directivity pattern concentrated within bounds of small angle located outside tank, former of signals of forward channel which output is connected to input of ultrasonic radiator. Backward channel for signal transmission includes telephone, former of signals of backward channel, unit processing signals of backward channel, transmitting and receiving antennas. Output of unit processing signals of forward channel is connected to input of former of signals of backward channel. Output of the latter is connected to transmitting antenna. Receiving antenna is connected to input of unit processing signals of backward channel. Output of this unit is connected to telephone and microphone is of ultrasonic range. Unit processing signals of forward channel is made up of low-noise amplifier, filter suppressing image channel, frequency converter, intermediate frequency amplifier, intermediate frequency filter, amplitude detector and threshold device connected in series. Former of signals of forward channel is composed of generator of ultrasonic vibrations and power amplifier connected in series. EFFECT: enhanced authenticity and efficiency of gear. 1 dwg
